Distributed denial-of-service mitigation protecting all cloud-hosted services and internet-facing applications from volumetric and protocol attacks.
Defender for Office 365
Advanced email threat protection including safe attachments, safe links, anti-phishing, and zero-hour auto purge for Exchange Online.
Security Awareness Program 2025–2026
Our annual awareness program empowers the university community to protect, detect, and report with confidence. Through phishing simulations, interactive training, and campus-wide events, we build a culture where security is second nature.
Phishing Simulations
Regular simulated phishing campaigns to test user awareness and measure improvement over time. Results feed into targeted training for vulnerable groups.
LMS Training Modules
Self-paced online security training delivered via Microsoft Teams. Mandatory completion for all employees, with tracking and compliance reporting.
HR Onboarding Integration
Security awareness is part of every new employee's onboarding process. New hires complete mandatory training before receiving full system access.
Face-to-Face Workshops
Interactive departmental workshops covering topics like social engineering, password hygiene, and data handling best practices.
Bite-Sized Security Tips
Weekly security tips and best practices delivered via email and Teams channels. Short, actionable guidance on current threat trends.

ISO 27001 Certification Journey
Horus University is pursuing ISO/IEC 27001 certification to formalize our information security management system (ISMS) and demonstrate compliance with international standards.
